Pressure keeps mounting on General Muhammadu Buhari to drop his presidential election petition. Will the general budge?
It started like a rumour but it has now been confirmed that General Muhammadu Buhari, the All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP) presidential candidate is under intense pressure to drop his petition from the presidential election tribunal. This is coming at a time when Buhari is expressing confidence in the tribunal.
But the pressure seems to be like water on a duck’s back. Though the latest personalities fanning the heat are of high calibre, the General says he would remain in the court till judgment day.
